Missions at Mill Creek
One of the core values of Mill Creek Bible Church is Missions: ”We value living out and passing on the gospel of Jesus Christ because if we don’t, who will?”
Jesus commanded every believer to go into the world and share the gospel: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
For some this may mean traveling overseas to far away places and for others it may mean to witness in our local communities. God has opportunities that He gives us to share the good news with those around us. Our task as a Church is to work towards fulfilling the Great Commission, and there are numerous ways that we can support one another as we do this.
The goal of the Missions Committee is to make the congregation aware of the mission outreach that MCBC has, both overseas and locally. We want to provide information about missions by:
Promoting Awareness of the missionaries and organizations that we support as a church
Informing for Involvement—Each month we highlight a missionary or mission organization with a slide and a time of prayer for them. We also inform the church of opportunities for serving our missionaries or organizations.
